There were two other interesting things our guest mentioned yesterday that I forgot to include in my report:
#1) start loading up on Vitamin D (I’d also been told this during Monday Night Football by my close friend and retired doctor). Vitamin D seems to be a strong force for building up our immune system — so stock up and take daily!!
#2) get a humidifier for your bedroom — this is important because you do not want your nasal cavity and upper breathing tubes to become dry during the night — this can lead to coughing and driving virus moments down deeper into your lungs — so get a small humidifier and make sure it is providing at least 30% humidity…

Although we’ve touched on this before, even if you are required to stay in or near your home, do use your phone, your computer, and any other communication device you have to keep in contact with anyone you know or suspect may be vulnerable to mental wellness issues — even if it’s only once a week. Our guest mentioned this several times: while lamenting the frequent reliance on lockdowns, he did say that until we can get beyond this, we need to be vigilant in our efforts to try to keep hope in front of our friends, neighbours, colleagues and loved ones. Otherwise we are in danger of losing our way, and having people start giving up...
